Terms and Conditions
Repair prices include costs of material and labor. Exceptions to this are noted by the items, or customer will be contacted prior to repairs. Standard turn-around time is 8 working days for repairs, one working day for exchanges. If machine is down, repair/exchange will be sent same day with no expediting fee. Loaners are available to customers with approved credit. Exchange items must be received within seven (7) working days.
Repairs are done to current revision level. Exchanges and sales are new or reconditioned equipment. All carry a six month (180 day) warranty.
Terms available are Net thirty (30) and COD. MasterCard and Visa accepted. Freight charges are the responsibility of the customer. We ship UPS Ground unless other service is requested. Shipping and handling will be added to the invoice. Payment of any state and local taxes, duties, and levies (except in Missouri) are the responsibility of the customer.
Warranty
All hardware carries a 180 day warranty from date of shipment from UICS. This warranty covers defects in material and workmanship, but does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, accident, improper installation, repairs or modifications done by anyone other than an employee or agent of UICS, or acts of nature. UICS will honor warranties of Uptyme Computer Services, Inc. of Houston, Texas.
To obtain repair/replacement during the warranty period, contact UICS and we will, at our discretion: send a replacement or request return of the damaged item for repair.
